He avoided major injuries. He went to a million Pro Bowls. He won league and Super Bowl MVP, respectively, the latter in one of his five World Championship games. He won two rings, at the ages of thirty-seven and thirty-eight. Then he retired. That won’t happen again. But in Denver, it fucking better!
