What I Know for Sure

Sometimes we get so focused on the difficulty of our climb that we lose sight of being grateful for simply having a mountain to climb.

Every action, thought, and feeling is motivated by an intention, and that intention is a cause that exists as one with an effect.

couples who stayed married when they shouldn’t have, simply because their intention was just that—to be married, rather than to be fulfilled. And in the end, each of those couples had a relationship in which there was no regard for intimacy, growth, or building a strong life.

Dream big—very big. Work hard—very hard. And after you’ve done all you can, fully surrender to the Power.

For me, a miracle is seeing the world with light in your eyes. It’s knowing there’s always hope and possibility where none seems to exist.

To me, miracles are confirmation that something larger than us is at work.

I know that the big miracles we’re waiting on are happening right in front of us, at every moment, with every breath.

What I know for sure: Having the best things is no substitute for having the best life.

What I know for sure: When you define yourself by the things you can acquire rather than see what you really need to be happy and fulfilled, you’re not just living beyond your means or overextending yourself. You’re living a lie.
