The Intruder

I don’t have as much experience with adult men being disappointed with me, because I don’t have a father.

I’ll do what I do every night, which is read one of my many books.

I can read a book every other day.

I almost laugh. Of course, my mother wouldn’t want me to get counseling. Because then I might tell someone about the way we live. Then she’d have to acknowledge what she’s done to me.
