To all the dark romance readers who know what they love, without any shame
Berlyn doesn’t realize it yet, but she just became the center of all our plans.
This man really could take my whole ass identity. I don’t think I’d even care. As long as he doesn’t look at my Kindle library. Anything but that.
The rest of the world could have burned and they probably wouldn’t have even noticed as long as they had each other. No one has ever loved me that way. As if I was their sun, the center of their universe.
Or how I can barely follow her train of thought as her mind bounces from one thought to the next, only vocalizing half of them. It leaves me bewildered how we got to a topic, and yet utterly entranced that we did. Adoration is not a feeling I had ever experienced before my little rabbit. Love, affection, desire, even possessiveness I’ve all felt for Jude and West, but neither of them could bring about this same wistful adoration, only Berlyn.
Tonight, we go to her house, and soon we won’t ever leave. We do own it, after all.
Ezra makes sure to always have at least one class with her every semester and purposely bumps into her around campus. I do all of her oil changes and other car maintenance, but West doesn’t have regular excuses to bump into her.
Being stalked isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. I glare at the book I finished last night. It’s definitely not what my romance books make it out to be.
My stalker cares enough to color match the gifts he leaves behind. It’s adorable.
Wouldn’t that be something? The man I’ve been secretly crushing on being secretly obsessed with me.
