When she was married to Ian, they’d argued regularly about the same old topics—her working outside the home (he was against it), him wanting to know where she’d been and who she was with (then him checking up on her), what she was spending money on. And yes, he had a temper. She spent a good deal of time walking on eggshells to avoid setting him off both during and after their marriage.
