The body of the exalted Lord is also a visible body in the shape of the Church. How is this body made visible? In the first place, through the preaching of the word. “They continued in the apostles’ teaching” (Acts 2.42). Every word in this sentence is significant. Didachí (Greek, διδαχή, teaching) means preaching, and is contrasted with all kinds of religious addresses. It means the act of reporting certain concrete events.
