When it’s time to hit the road, you can acquire the information you need safely by calling up the people who provide your Main Drop and giving them specific instructions: Have your Cincinnati return address mail packed in one overnight package to your Bluff Box. Your Baltimore return address packages are your dump mail, so have them sent via regular mail to the Bluff Box as well. As you wait for these packages, thicken the plot for whoever manages to pretext your Main Drop by sending as many real estate pamphlets, utility applications, and relocation kits as possible to the Main Drop—using your Bluff Box as the return address. The more disinformation, the better! You want to make sure a skip tracer doesn’t know whether anything coming into or out of that Main Drop is a credible lead. Once your Cincinnati information arrives in the Bluff Box, have the Bluff Box’s providers ship that box to the Burn Box, and from the Burn Box, ship it to the Safe Box. Then cancel your Burn Box. Once the Baltimore information arrives in the Bluff Box, you can destroy it. Then let your Bluff Box expire and do not renew.
