Tem rolled her eyes. She would not be baited into pretending she was unlike most women. She was just like most women;
Tem was a little tired of being told that the inconveniences in her life were an honor. None of this felt like an honor. It felt like an enormous, insurmountable annoyance.
“I’m afraid.” “Of what?” But there were no words to describe it. Tem was afraid of so many things.
