sleep. The Camino is so simple. Difficult but easy. Each day starts with promise and ends with satisfaction and a deep sense of fulfillment. I’m going to miss this shared, simple life, and the thought of leaving and going back to the hustle and bustle of New York City fills me with a certain sense of dread. I like the person I’ve become out here—easygoing, confident, at moments even bold—able to stand in front of a mountain, know it’s mine to climb, and certain I can do it.
