Kindle Notes & Highlights
We’re a motley crew from all over the globe.
We are a tribe of nomads traveling across the land, and our camaraderie grows the longer we are together, and with each day that passes, the less singular I feel and the more it feels like I am part of something greater than myself.
The four of us walking together but apart.
It’s very relaxing, like living in an altered reality. The monotony and sameness of the days combined with the dry, featureless landscape creates the illusion of time standing still, as if nothing exists or matters beyond the moment you are in. Crunch, crunch, crunch . . .
Time alone with yourself is a powerful thing, and some need more time than others to get acquainted with the person they’ve uncovered.
