No one had really sat on the Solarian throne since the Savage King and his family had been murdered by Nymphs all those years ago, though I guessed the Celestial Councillors had kept it warm. But seeing as the four families were equally matched in their power, none of them had the potential to rise up above the others and claim it for their own.
