he swings me around so we're face to face with my legs still around him. He smirks. “What are you doing?” Stupid smirk. “I'm going to wipe that stupid smirk off your face.” He chuckles. “How?” “With my fist.” “Do it with your mouth,” he challenges.
don't like the thought of sharing you either. No more games. You're my girl now, Luce.” And I swoon. Just a little.
I've never really been the physical type, but apparently she makes me punchy.
“I'm crazy about you. How can you not see that? How can anybody that sees me with you not see that? Yes, there have been other girls. And yes, they didn't mean anything to me. But you do, Luce. You mean the world to me.”
really like you, Cameron.” I grin. “Yeah?” “Yeah,” she says dreamily. And then my heart begins to race. My palms begin to sweat. And all I can hear is the blood pumping in my ears. “Good,” I respond, and then inhale a huge breath. “Because I'm kind of in love with you, Lucy.”
“Because it's eternal, the rise and fall of the sun. It's forever. Just like us.”
“Quit moaning like a dick deprived whore and get out of my seat.” She crosses her arms and takes an intimidating step forward.
You’re the only girl that's ever mattered to me. The only girl that will ever matter. If you want, I can write a list so you can walk through town and call them all whores. I'll hold your hand and we can do it together. But it won't change the fact that you and I—we're above all that. What we have is bigger than all of it. Forever, remember?”
“I hate you,” she says. She bites her lip. The rage in her eyes is long gone and replaced with something else completely. Lust. I use my body to pin her to the wall, my hands still holding her firmly in place. Bending my knees, I place an open mouth kiss on her neck. “You love me.”
“I love you, Cameron,” she whispers. “Forever, Luce. I love you, forever.”
Five years on and his words still have the ability to make me blush. To make me fall in a new type of love, every single day.
“You still make my world stop, Luce.”
She needs time? I need her. And no one fucking cares!”
“You can keep your two wishes, I'll just take the one. I want my girl. My Lucy. My forever. And not just for our forever, but for eternity, and for always.”
