I lost her. She hates me. She hates me and I repulse her and I might never see her again, and it is entirely my own doing. This notebook might be all I have left of her.
I almost forget that she still hates me, despite how hard I’ve fallen for her. And I’ve fallen. So hard.
Kenji is kind of like that. He’s like glue.
Warner’s first name is Aaron.
I think I’m smiling.
“Who hurt you?”
hell is empty and all the devils are here
“Please don’t shoot me for this.” And he kisses me.
“I am going to kill your father,” I say to him, “and I’m going to destroy The Reestablishment.
This shit is bananas.”
“Tell me I’m wrong. Tell me I’m blind. Tell me you love me.”
“I love you,” I whisper. “I love you exactly as you are.”
“Lift your hips for me, love,”
Ignite, my love. Ignite.”
“You don’t need a gun,” Warner says to me, surprised. “You can certainly have one, but I don’t think you need one.” “I want two.” “All right,” he laughs.
And shoot him in the forehead.
Twice. Once for Adam. Once for Warner.
“the whole world will be coming for us now.” I lean back. Look into his eyes. “I can’t wait to watch them try.”
