Tell her it’s a good thought but an inside thought, or time to prep for the asswhooping you’re going to give him, or go talk to the school because this is the type of behavior that leads to worse behavior later in life… this is already opening with a “boys will be boys” attitude… which is unfortunate.
And, absolutely, if he’s terrible you need to be too. Be ready for that attack because it’s probably coming. This dismissive behavior by her father is how she ends up a victim in real life.
