Failure isn’t an option in my book, and my parents would have a heart attack if I quit my steady job in education due to the unpredictability of the publishing realm. They’ve ingrained in me that stability is the most important thing to have in life outside of God. It’s a little contradictory if you ask me, because God calls us to trust Him. That’s it. Trust in Him. Not in stability. However, I know they’re not entirely wrong. God calls us to trust Him alone, but He doesn’t call us to be ignorant and readily set our lives to flames.
