“It means to forgive,” Palqtlo explains. “Forgiving what?” “Yourself.” “For what?” I ask. “For any moment in the past . . . it’s the ability to give yourself forward to the present moment from a past moment so that you can fully live in time . . . to be present in your presence.”
“When a moment’s over and yet you don’t give it up,” she says, “then you remain attached to that moment. You stay there while time proceeds forward and leaves you behind. That part of you that’s left behind is the part of you that is not alive, because it’s consciously involved with a time that no longer exists.”
(Intention x Focus) x (Time) - (Habit of Fear + Doubt) = OUTCOME “This is the equation of life and the sum of all attitudes,” he tells me. “If the focus of your intention is held over a period of time and this is longer than the time that you give to your fear, then you accomplish your desire.”
