What We Can Know

The same top two per cent, highly educated, highly trained, hard-working, met their spouses at elite institutions, ensured the best schooling and health care for their progeny to whom they passed on their capital and ensured their group’s continuation. They were cut off from the rest of us and were large and varied enough as a faction that they didn’t even think of themselves in those terms.
