There is nothing worse than being forced to participate in physical activity,
So how did the bond allow him to feel this way about Violet and have borderline disdain for Vivian? Everything he’d read about mates described the tug he felt now, and not for the first time, he wondered if the gods made a mistake.
“I’d give up anything for you, princess.”
He was hers completely and irrevocably, and he would do whatever it took to make her his, too.
Roman had warned everyone in the palace school against touching Violet, but he hadn’t thought she’d meet a guy from town.
Violet meant everything to him. Vivian meant nothing.
When you fall in love and the other person doesn’t catch you, you break more than a bone when hitting the ground. You break everything. Your heart. Your soul. Your confidence in yourself. It all just shatters.
“Did you ever think of what losing you and watching you fall in love with someone else will do to me?” His strong arms caged her in on either side of her head. “You might get over me, but I won’t get over you. How can you ask that of me?”
He didn’t need a bond to tell him Violet was his true mate. Every royal found their soulmate at thirteen years old, but Roman had found his at twelve, only to have her ripped away.
She might not need him, but he needed her. And wanted her. And loved her. He always had.
Roman would kill someone before he’d allow them to touch what was his. Because she was his, and he was hers. He’d never touched another woman, and he never would.
I will suffer the deepest ring of hell if it means one lifetime with her.
Whoever touches what is mine will suffer dearly for it.
“War.” “Yes?” “When she sees something that makes her happy, call for me. I want to see her happy, too.” He could feel the tigon bob his head. “You won’t miss anything, Roman. I swear it.”
Griff, If you ever throw an apple at Violet again, I will cut your fucking arm off. Roman P.S. Stop taking her to watch sweaty men fight.
Rennick tried to kill Finn today, and were it not for Amelia, he would have. No more kidding around about murdering people.
“You’re not only my queen, Violet. You’re my obsession. You have always been mine, and I have always been yours. Not even the gods succeeded at keeping you from me. What makes you think something as trivial as morals would?”
“I don’t know who I’d be had I not met you. I was a shell of a boy who didn’t know how to laugh, then you came along and forced me to. Hell, you made me sneak out in the middle of the night to smuggle half-dead chickens into our classroom.”
“You are everything to me.” Leaning down, he dropped his mouth to hers. “I will soak the earth beneath your feet with the blood of anyone who disrespects you.”
“I filled you with so much cum you fucking choked.” He spread the cum on her lips. “I’m in you so completely that I’m spilling out. It will be hard not to do that every time.”
And now Violet understood why Roman would kill, has killed, for her, and prayed she would never have to do the same. Because she would. Without hesitation.
Griff stepped forward for a better look. “It looks like a rabid dog bit you.” “One did,” Slayton added unhelpfully.
“Were it up to me, her hair would still be intact, and her head would not; but your queen has a kind heart.”
He’d always wanted to be the one to hold her bucket. And now he was.
“The crown made it illegal to serve mayonnaise, sir.
“There is no better woman to be my soulmate, wife, and queen than Violet Maekin Covington. I have known this since I was twelve years old.”
“If you refuse to accept your queen, you will forever kneel before her.”
“I will spend the rest of my life on my knees for you, Your Grace.”
