“But sometimes you’re bad to me, and it makes me really fucking angry.” A mumble to the side interrupts us, and Kade’s jaw clenches as he slows his thrusts. I flinch and cover my ears as he puts four bullets in No Name before dropping the weapon. “I’m done having an audience,”

“Did you abort the baby?” My eyes close. “No.” “Does my son know the truth?”

“I guess I wanted your voice to be the last I heard…” I straighten. “What? What do you mean?” “I took something I shouldn’t have, and I needed to hear you before…” he slurs.

“There are cameras.” He smirks. “You better get on the bike then.” Idiot.
