Something is licking my face. Two somethings. I crack my eyes open to see Milo and Hopper on each side of me. I pat their heads while looking over at the door I’m certain I shut. “How did you two get in here?” They stare at me, then Milo tilts his head, and I lie back down as they roll onto their backs to get tummy rubs.
