“You are everything to me.”
“Fuck me hard, Bear Slayer.”
“Where to start, Embers… Where to fucking start…”
“I was trying to save you.”
“Delmira needs a queen.”

“I’m his to protect,” she said. “And he’s mine.”
They were in a strange place, caught somewhere between her sorrow and his regret, that wall of secrets now rubble between them. And yet she couldn’t help wanting to be near him.
She missed him—missed them.
But she couldn’t seem to pull away. She liked his closeness.
“You’re always safe with me,”
“It feels that way,”

“Whatever it is, we’ll face it together…”
“For decades, the kingdom of Delmira has been without a reigning sovereign, until now.”
“Prove it, Bear Slayer. Fuck me like I’m yours. Fuck me so I feel you for days.”
Tell me this isn’t goodbye.
I have always loved you.
