Taking a portfolio view can bring the payoff when luck comes knocking on your door. That should include a portfolio view of your friends and colleagues. Put yourself in the company of other people who are also willing to operate with courage and zest for life, leading to what I call pinch-me moments, risky but ultimately fulfilling adventures.
