Losing a parent is hard, maybe one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, other than this. Just remember that when the tears come, it’s nothing but love leaking out of the eyes. It means you had something worth missing, and I know it’s hard, but we have to be grateful for the time we had and not mourn the time we lost. Honey, it’s so hard, and healing takes time.
