“Have you ever wished on a star?” Only for you. “Doesn’t everyone?” I question her as I exhale a short, soft breath through my nostrils. “Wishes don’t come true, Nova. A wish is just a hope or a desire. The stars don’t have the power to make those come true.”

Wishes and kisses sometimes life doesn’t let your dreams become reality. They’re meant to be in the stars for a reason. ✨

“Wish upon a full moon.” Nova’s smile grows wider, her bright white teeth shining behind her lips, and she nods. “Yes, exactly. A full moon is filled with energy we can’t see. If it has the power to shift the tides, who’s to say it doesn’t have the power to carry our wishes too?”

Wishes for the one you love are always inevitable and they can make you feel this energy that you just wanna give back to the person you are in love with 💘

“I hope one day I’ll see you again, but until then, I’ll think of you whenever I look up at the moon.”

Wanting to see somebody again is your heart wanting to show you they are there 🙂

We were never meant to be anything more than this fleeting moment. Nova Simmons had always been my wish upon a star. And that’s why she would never be mine.

In difficult times, sometimes you feel that fleeting. The moment is gonna be what’s gonna make it better. 😕

I’m just the girl who still chases stars, wishes on full moons, and has a two-year-old daughter who takes up most of my time.

Chasing stars and wishes for the man to love you and your daughter at the same time is something to cherish 😌
