As self-driving car work largely disappeared from the platform, so did Venezuelans. “They wouldn’t use Venezuelans for generative AI work,” says a former Scale employee. “That country is relegated to image annotation at best.” Scale would soon ban Venezuela from its platform completely, citing “changing customer requirements.”
