“And you smell like the earth just before a lightning strike,” Lucas whispered, “When the atmosphere holds its breath for the coming storm.”
Nancy chuckled. “Please don’t be rude, because my rude will out-rude your rude.”
flesh. “Nose wrinkles when you concentrate. Stamp your foot when you’re angry. Freckles… Fucking freckles.”
away. “I want to devour you,” Lucas said. The words felt bottomless. “Consume you. Mine.”
“I will love you,” he whispered, pushing his face into Oliver’s neck. “God, I will cherish you, if you’ll let me.”
station. If he was going to be the source of office gossip, he was damn well going to follow his grandma’s age old advice. Teeth and tits. Chest out, big smile, and walk.
“It’s not aimless, Reed. I want him to know that if he so much as touches a single hair on my mate’s head, then his life won’t be worth living.”
Oliver blinked several times. “Your—” “Mate. Good night.” “Oi, listen here—” Then the connection abruptly cut off, leaving Oliver with the dial tone once more.
Letting out a mischievous snicker, Oliver glanced up at Lucas. Side piece… he was more of a front, back, underneath, and on top piece.
