That’s why they keep an eye on each other when they sleep. Someone has to keep you safe.

“You and me are good people,” Rocky says.

“You will miss me, question? I will miss you. You are friend.”

Just so I know how much longer I can see my friend in the distance? Wouldn’t that be kind of pathetic? Yeah. Okay, my sad little daily ritual is over. I turn off the Petrovascope and fire up the spin drives again.

“You are…” he squeaks. “You…” he squeaks again. “You are here!”
