The twenty years before that, as a bodybuilder, the mirror was a literal mirror. I looked in the mirror every day. For hours. It was part of the job. The mirror was an essential tool. You can’t know if an exercise is working properly unless you watch yourself do it in the mirror. You can’t know if a muscle has achieved enough mass or enough definition until you flex in the mirror.
