I’m in the space between dream and reality when I feel soft lips against my forehead. “I wish you would remember too…” Kaiden whispers after a few beats of silence. I think I also hear him say, “remember me,” but my grasp on reality slips, and it all seems like I imagined it, like my brain is playing with me, and it’s all wishful thinking.
I feel as though I’ve been thrust into a wicked dance of obsidian and light.
“I feel like I can’t fucking breathe when I look at you. You shine brighter than the sun. I know I’m not worthy…but I want to bathe in your light.” He pauses. Shakes his head. Then his eyebrows drop low. “No, not just want; I need to kiss you more than I need my next breath. I need your light to burn me from the inside out, and if only ashes are all that’s left of me, then it will all be worth it because at least I got a taste of Heaven.”
“If you ever want to kill me, Iris, all you have to do is deny me your lips or offer them to another man,”
“I need your light to burn me from the inside out, and if only ashes are all that’s left of me, then it will all be worth it because at least I got a taste of Heaven.”
“You’re all mine, angel. Fucking mine! I claimed you with my fingers and with my tongue, and soon enough, I’ll claim you with my cock. I’m going to fuck you so hard, Iris, I’ll ruin you for anyone else.”
I feel shy all of a sudden, despite him just eating my pussy and my ass like a seven-course meal at a Michelin-star restaurant.
