LESSON: Hannah What is God doing for his people in this story? He answers Hannah’s prayer and cares about her problems. He turns her from a despised person into one with a big role in his work. Good news! How does God do the same for us—only better—in Jesus? Jesus cares when we have problems. He takes the despised people of this world and makes them his people. Believe it! How does believing this good news change how we live? We pray with confidence in Christ, sure that he cares about our problems and will do far more through us than all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
