I met Vox’s eyes and immediately knew that whatever had happened in that room was bad. We’d been too late to spare Naomi any additional trauma.
I don’t like that they did this to her this late in the book honestly. We don’t even have the time to really process the trauma of it because the book is going to go back to the “Cal and Ryan are in love” show.
