I didn’t like the idea of just unloading bullshit that would fill the pages fast and then be tossed because I wouldn’t want to read back the bad stuff. Living the bad stuff once was enough. So, I opted for a positivity journal.
They both stop abruptly and turn to look at me. Hadley’s eyebrows pinch as she says, “Did you just growl?”
“Holy shit, you did.” Hadley looks at Law with lifted eyebrows. “Quick, hug me again, let’s see how mad we can make him.” Law barks out a laugh. “I think I love you.”
She’s right; it’s the kind of morning that gets stored away and taken out when life feels complicated again.
It’s a view I don’t think I’ll ever forget—her smiling at her ring as she lies on top of me and the word “love” being thrown around like it’s the easiest thing in the world to say to someone.
I can get lost while kissing this woman. It’s exactly how I like—lips pressing, tongues wet and warm, lulling the other into a promise of edging foreplay and blackout orgasms.
