"Nah. Unless, you're Cesare?" I asked. "Cesare. Really?" The man at knifepoint sighed. "Fuck, he's a whore." “Yeah, we should get him a vasectomy for Father’s Day.” A guy laughed loudly. “You know, if he wasn’t a giant piece of shit.”
As if they couldn't stand any distance from each other, they moved closer together until not even a sliver of air could pass between them. Benito's arm wrapped around Harlow's waist.
"The thing is, we don't know him," Benito started. "And Benito is a paranoid freak and I don't like strangers near my daughter."
"Har, taking on a Vitale bastard is a lot." I shrugged at Benito. "Full offense, your whole bloodline is a chaotic mess."
"What the fuck are you laughing at? I’m goddamn calm.” Harlow hit Benito with the back of his hand. “Right?”
“Right, Benito?” The glint of a knife appeared out of nowhere and pressed against Benito’s abdomen. Harlow’s husband didn’t so much as bat an eye at the threat.
"Giancarlo, the one who fucks his hammer, has a baby?" Benito's face scrunched up in disgust. "He doesn't fuc—" Harlow nodded. "Yeah, that one." He looked at his husband with all the seriousness in the world. The knife was put back away. "Can you say without a doubt Gin doesn't do things with that hammer?"
"兄弟はみんな狂っている。" The brothers are all fucking insane. "君は知らないだろうけど、彼らは家族なんだ。あなたが私の家族であるようにね," Harlow said. You have no idea, but they are family. Like you're mine.
Too bad he’s a Vitale. I'd rather dip my nuts in boiling water than get involved with them.
Being half-black was a point against me. It was never meant for me, but it still stung.
Submissive and breedable.
The sound of his cries did something to me. A big man like Quincy falling apart underneath me? God, it was the greatest fucking drug in the world. I wanted to drown and die in this pleasure, in his body.
I couldn't bring myself to tell him that he'd stolen some of my firsts. He was the first man I'd ever topped. And the first man that I had ever without a condom.
"Cum in my ass," he moaned. "Come on, baby girl. Fill me up. I need it." "You need me to breed your hole?"
Shit life was steadily fucking me without lube.
"God, he's dramatic," Harlow said. "I'm starting to question if he's actually a Vitale. Gin and Paolo love this stuff." "Clearly, he can't hang," Harlow said. "Give me another. I need to calm my nerves."
"Okay, why don't you like him?" I asked Harlow. "He's an asshole, he's cruel, he bosses Benito around like he's his trained pet," he said, ticking off each reason on his fingers.
Harlow's jaw dropped, and I took a step back on instinct as he moved forward. Benito snatched him up, pressing Harlow's back against his chest. As the long-haired male glared at me, I swallowed hard and wished I had taken a few hundred more shots. Being dead from that was probably better than being murdered by my brother's husband.
"You sleep in the same bed?" Paolo asked. I relaxed in my chair. I had no idea why his question made my stomach knot. "There is only one bed." "What kind of romance novel shit is happening over there?" Gin laughed. "Hey, I heard he's got a big dick."
"I thought there was something wrong with the bookshelf," Enzo said. I nodded. "I got close but I couldn't think of a code. One, two, three, four seemed too simple." "And idiotic," Enzo added. "There is nothing wrong with simple," Benito grumbled as the elevator hit the ground floor.
"Yeah, Gin stole a baby so instead of a baby shower he's doing a name day," Enzo informed me. "I didn't steal him. I got him at a fair price." Paolo nodded as if the words coming out of his brother's mouth weren't complete insanity. "Sure, I'll be there. Hopefully the cops won't come," I joked.
The more Blake spoke, the quicker the ache turned into a flower of warmth. "Baby girl, you're going to make me blush."
"Is it weird I'm hoping to be one day?" He was quick to keep talking. "I didn't come here for that shit. I didn't even know I had brothers before arriving in this hellscape. But—" "But now you have them and you want to be a part of them." I could understand more than most. "Nah, you're not weird. Everyone wants a family."
Call me crazy, but Quincy’s colorful wardrobe was actually starting to look good. Only on him. No way was I trading in my all-black aesthetic.
"Help!" I yelped. Hands wrapped around my ankles and yanked. I let out a very high pitched shriek as I fell on top of the twins. Both of them groaned as I stared up at the sky wondering how the hell this had become my life.
I was desired, but I was never wanted.
"Un altro fratello che pensa di essere intelligente." A heavy sigh filled the car as Benito continued to mudder in Italian. "Idiota. Perché io?"
We had just done something together, something insane and fucked up, but it was together none-the-less. Damn, I felt like I was on top of the world.
"Good dick?" He nodded, answering his own question. "Plus, he loves it. Keeps him on his toes. If I was some basic husband he'd probably get bored by now."
"I have a child at home, of course I kept it." He showed me the phone. Benito's face was covered in pink frosting on the screen. "I had it off this whole time. Figured now was a good time to check on the baby. Being a parent isn't easy. You have to schedule murder and what not."
"Behave?" Harlow rolled his eyes. "I already promised Quincy I'd be on my worst behavior." Bastard. "Hey, don't involve me in you two’s kinky mindfuck games."
"Harlow, I swear, ain’t nothing left. My dick doesn't so much as twitch when I look at you. All I have for you is mild respect and a hint of fear." The only reason I feared his crazy ass was because he knew secrets about me from my childhood, ones I wanted to stay buried. "Oh good. I'd hate for Benito to have to fight you again."
"What if it's a problem with me?" Benito asked. "Really?" He aimed my way. "Quincy?" "You know, I'm getting a little sick of the shit around here," he huffed. "I'm a standup fucking citizen." We all stared at him. "You know what the fuck I mean!"
"Harlow, gimme some lube." "Oh trust me, there's definitely a bottle or two in there. Benito and I fuck all over this place." Quincy and I pulled the same disgusted face as Benito stared at his husband with a horrified expression.
"So smoke," I said quietly. "If it helps you, I’m not going to take it away." Quincy shook his head. "You settle my mind more than the weed ever has." Fuck. If he kept saying shit like this, I was going to end up getting pregnant.
He nodded. "You have! That's Tex, he belongs to Enzo." "Do you have to say ‘belongs to’ like I'm a German Shepherd or something?" Tex asked. "We all know you're a golden retriever," Harlow teased. Tex groaned. "You all suck."
He nodded. "Yeah, it gets pretty bad," he whispered. "I fully support stabbing that old bitch in her wrinkly face." I stared at him. "That's not what I said!"
Shrugging, he turned a corner. "Hey, I say if we're going to go all out, let's go all out. I fully advocate the bumping off of parents. Especially the shitty ones." "There's something incredibly wrong with you." "Oh, I know. Like a lot."
"I hate to say it, but I think this baby was the best decision he's ever made," Benito said. “Even if he bought him.” “I didn’t buy him!” Gin interjected. “The mother wanted a new life, and I gave her the opportunity. Just because I outbid the other parents…” I blinked at Gin. “Yeah, I’m not sure that’s how that works. Like at all.” Gin shrugged. “Works for me. He gets a home, we get a baby. Every problem solved!”
I looked to the side of me noticing Harlow, York, and Tex. "Here, welcome to the Vitale wive’s club," Ash said as he offered me a drink. He smiled like he'd given me a million dollars. "The what now?" York sipped his wine and grunted. "Just go with it." "He'll cry if you don't and no one wants to deal with Giancarlo when his man cries," Harlow added not so helpfully.
