Page 124 of the Big Book says, ‘Cling to the thought that, in God’s hands, the dark past is the greatest possession you have—the key to life and happiness for others.’ You’ve seen the value of having great parents and the heartbreak of losing them. All of that will shape how you raise a child. You know the cycle of addiction, and you’re going to be the one to break it.”
