All of the horrible things my father has spoken over the years about queer people ring in my head. Blowing out a heavy breath, I decide that I don’t care. Fuck the labels, fuck the stigmas, and absolutely fuck the Brethren. I’m taking what I want, what we all want and I’m not going to feel shame for it for one goddamn second.
