I half expect him to be aggressive, but he’s completely the opposite. He’s soft, gentle, and sweet, our tongues brushing and exploring. As far as first kisses go, this is an award winner.
“For the love of God, Cammie, put a desperate man out of his fucking misery, and sit on my face.”
“I will end you if you keep it up,” Chase growls. My entire body likes that sound.
I want more than someone to get off with. I want to watch movies and study and hang out with Cammie while she writes a new chapter as much as I want to feel her lips on mine. I want her to be my person, and I want to be hers.
I dip down and brush my lips over hers. Little electric bursts of pleasure zing through my veins. I slide my fingers into her hair and tilt my head, my tongue stroking along the seam of her lips. They part on a soft gasp and she grips my shirt, tipping her head, letting me in. I sink into the kiss, into the feel of her lips on mine, relishing the softness and the sweet aftertaste of strawberry on her tongue.
“You are special. So special. You’re the only girl I’ve ever felt this way about.” He presses his forehead to mine. “Give me a chance, please? I’m new at this, and clearly not great at the whole boyfriend thing, but I can learn. I want to learn. I want to be a good boyfriend. More than that, I want to be your boyfriend.” My heart stutters and gallops. “I want you to be my boyfriend, too,” I whisper.
