Lucia was born with teeth; although that’s a thing I now know happens—rare but still possible—it still and will forever gross me out. Her toothy, newborn baby grin added to the devilish look in her eyes. And that devilish look doesn’t even go away when she sleeps, because she sleeps with her eyes open.
