“Why do you have sexy mood lighting in your gym?” “You have it in yours.” “Yeah. For yoga and meditation. Two things you don’t do.” “But you do them. So I have lights that dim. For you.” Shane’s heart wobbled. “Oh.”
“I would give up more,” Ilya said simply. “Anything for you.”
Shane would have died too. Alone, and secretly, and for the rest of his life.
“We are going slow tonight,” Ilya informed him. Shane could only nod, his head as wobbly as the rest of him.
“I want to look at you,” Ilya said. “Everywhere. And touch you. And kiss you. I want to take my time until you are dying for it.” Shane’s tongue felt heavy. “You’d better make it worth the wait.” “I will.” Ilya trailed a fingertip delicately along the line of Shane’s jaw. “Because I will be dying for it too.”
Shane wrapped his legs around Ilya’s back, urging him to go deeper, and faster.
“It’s okay,” he said to Chiron in Russian. “My day is coming.”
“You are Shane fucking Hollander,” Ilya growled. “If you ever forget that, I will drag you back in here and fuck you until you remember.”
“We couldn’t be prouder of the man he’s become,” David continued. “I don’t have any Stanley Cup rings, but I have Shane.” Ilya swallowed. “I’ll take care of him.” David smiled up at him. “I know.”
“This was not the real wedding,” Ilya assured Ruby as they both enjoyed some cake. “The real one was the one you did. This was just for show.” Ruby smiled at him, then nudged her sister Jade. “I told you.”
