“No. Shut up. If you really don’t get that I’m not going to leave you for the first cute guy who smiles at me, then I don’t know what we’re even doing, Ilya.”
Don’t be a butthole. Everybody can experience jealousy. It doesn’t mean he thinks you’re going to leave him, but it must suck to watch other people put their hands on you when he can’t. Try to be understanding.
“I am bisexual,” Ilya said, nodding. “Shane is super gay.” “I’m regular gay,” Shane argued.
“Sorry if I missed anything,” he said. “Had to deal with a family emergency.” “Did your wife have another baby?” Ilya asked dryly. “Is everything okay?” Shane asked with far more concern. Hayden waved a hand. “Yeah, yeah. No big deal. Just a missing stuffed alligator.” “Wow,” Ilya said. “Did you call the police?” Hayden sat across from him and glared at him. “I know you don’t, like, care about other people, but Arthur fucking loses his shit without Chompy.”
“What is the point of life if you are not eating chicken parmesan and ice cream?”
Shane hadn’t taken Ilya’s offer well. He’d thought it had been Ilya’s backhanded way of letting Shane know that he’d cheated on him, or that he wanted to. Ilya had told him that he didn’t believe in cheating because he didn’t own Shane.
I mean, I’d be pissed too. It def sounds like he’d be cool with cheating, so what else is Shane supposed to think?
“I choose you, Ilya. I promise I will always, always choose you.” Shane’s eyes began to shimmer. He took a deep breath and said, “Ilya Grigoryevich Rozanov, will you marry me?”
“She needed a home. I needed a dog.”
