Because he’d already made up his mind. He’d loved Annie then and he loved her now. She was it for him.

But as he watched Annie walk down the aisle, she was the only thing he knew, the only thing he saw, the only thing that mattered.

‘So,’ she said, snuggling in tight, her hands over his heart. ‘What do you think of me now?’ That was an easy one. ‘I think you’re the love of my life.’
