“You taste like a storm,” he murmured between strokes. “Like the ocean’s rage.”
“You're not just a choice, Pearl. You're my answer.”
A strange, eerie harmony filled me, as though the scars that had once symbolized pain were now keeping me alive.
I stared at him, anger bubbling up as I hissed, “You’re a monster.” His black eyes glinted, his voice dropping to a possessive whisper. “Yes. But I’m your monster.”
We shattered together, lost in the dark, the abyss swallowing us whole.
He didn’t just want me; he needed me in ways that clawed at the edges of terrifying.
His eyes, deep, endless voids, held a darkness that should’ve terrified me. But instead, it pulled me in, made me crave the way they devoured me whole.
“You are everything,” he whispered. “My light, my darkness, my salvation.”
