Aside from that day, it’s been at least five years since I’ve really seen her, but it doesn’t matter how much time passes, I fall right back into protective mode—just like when she was younger. It took all three of us boys to watch out for her when she became a teenager. She’s still just one of those girls who never understands her own beauty and that makes her all the more enticing to every man in this room.
