“They don’t exist. Nothing else exists right now except you and me. You’re my whole world now, muse, and I’m yours.”
Saint has set a standard that no other man can possibly reach. A standard I never would’ve thought possible until I met him.
“Your existence is the greatest gift I’ve ever received.”
Her family ripped me apart, but she put me back together. A devious twist of fate.
“I’ll do whatever it takes to get an A, Professor.”
“We don’t want anyone hearing you, do we, Professor? No one can know how hard your student makes you come behind closed doors.”
“I can’t remember what I lived for before I met you,”
He loves nothing more than tormenting me. Sadistic fuck.
“Eyes on me, muse,” he orders. “When my mouth and hands are on you, your attention doesn’t stray from me. Ever.”
She is more important than any of my wants or needs. I would gladly stop breathing if she needed my oxygen.
“No. Even when death comes for me, I’m crawling from my grave to find you in the afterlife.” She can’t help the smile that tugs at her lips. “I’ve always wanted a man who would crawl to me.”
“I don’t care if I need to convince you every day for the rest of our lives that I love you. I will do so with my dying breath.”
There is only one other woman—one other person—in this world I would’ve died for, but Briar is the only one left. I will do anything to keep her safe, to keep her in my arms for as long as I can. Anything.
“You’re my everything. If I don’t have you, I’m nothing. I said I’d give you anything you want. If you want my blood on your hands, you can spill it. If you want the light to leave my eyes, you can extinguish it.”
“Until death,” I vow. “And then, until I find you again in the afterlife.” Finally, my muse utters the sweetest words. “I do.”
