and in the end, I stop asking myself what her ulterior motive might be. Maybe she’s just being nice and genuinely wanted to apologize. She wouldn’t be the first member of her family to surprise me.
I like Lydia better in the book than the show.

it surprises me how effortlessly Lin fits into our family circle.
I like how in the book, the friendship between Ruby and Lin is deeper and how close she is to Rubi's family. In fact the whole family dynamics it's portrayed better.
