This woman wasn’t saying that Wall Street bankers were corrupt. She was saying that they were stupid. These people whose job it was to allocate capital apparently didn’t even know how to manage their own.

They weren’t allowed to short Morgan Stanley because they were owned by Morgan Stanley, but if they could have, they would have.

“As a former gas station attendant, parking lot attendant, medical resident and current Goldman Sachs screwee, I am offended.”

The source of his unhappiness was, as usual, other people.
