They’re all the same—perfectly capable of hearing—and yet they can’t hear the word “no”. They can’t just let a woman breathe without needing to be in her space, or hurting her, or forcing her to like them. They need to control. And when women speak up about it, nothing is done. No one hears our cries. We’re called crazy or emotional. Told it’s our fault, or it didn’t happen. Or it was because of what we were wearing. This world wasn’t designed for women.
