For now, prison wasn't on my to-do list.
“My guess? You were in danger,” he said with a shrug. “Or maybe you just annoyed them as much as you're annoying me right now and they decided to swap you for less irritating twins.”
“Your parents were the last King and Queen of Solaria. You return here as joint Heirs to the throne.”
He was dangerous in all the right ways, and I knew without doubt that the fire in his eyes would burn me up if I strayed too close.
“Fuck you,” I growled, my fists clenching with the desire to punch his pretty face. “I hoped you’d say that.” His mouth dipped to my neck and for half a second, I thought he was going to kiss me before the sting of his teeth pierced my flesh.
“Earth focus, House Terra. And terror is exactly what you'll get if you don't fit in.”
gaze, and he took a step towards me. “Maybe you should have picked an easier House to join,” he warned. “I don’t get the feeling you’re cut out for the trials of this one.” “Well, you made it in,” I pointed out. “So it can’t be that hard.”
“I wouldn’t come near you even if someone held a knife to my heart and told me that the world would end if I didn’t,”
Tears never did anyone any favours, but sometimes they just needed to fall.
“Who are you calling useless?” “Am I not speaking clearly enough?”
“Yeah, I hate it,” I snarled. “So why don’t you get your kicks feeding off of someone who enjoys your twisted brand of creep and leave me alone?”
“Feel free to try and stop me, sweetheart,” he mocked. “But until you manage it, you can consider yourself my own personal juice box.”
“Your weakest Element is fire, although I use the word weak very loosely. You're an eight in earth, a nine in water and a ten in air.”

grounded. It may seem like a lot to take in, but you’re doing better than you think.
Be wary of those close to you. Even the friendliest of dogs can bite.
“I know,” he said, his eyes glittering. “But until that day, you're mine, Blue.”
“Do you want me and my sister dead?” I pinned him with my hardest, most unwavering stare. For Tory. For me. I had to hear his answer, even if it was a lie. His eyes softened, running over my face with the faintest of frowns. “No, Blue. I don't.”
“If you come to my room uninvited again then it had better be because you’re ready to bow to us or to beg me to bend you over that headboard and make you scream my name,”
My gaze stayed locked on him as he tore through the skies and I found myself desperate to join him in the clouds. I wondered if there was any chance that when my Order revealed itself, I would be granted the blessing of wings. Flying through the clouds seemed like its own beautiful kind of freedom and I knew that if I could experience it even once then I’d be able to die having lived a life fulfilled.
He was power and heat and war wrapped up in a single being. He’d fight to the death to maintain what was his. And while we remained at this academy, we were a threat. But for the first time since I’d arrived here, watching him soar through the skies sparked something in me. It was like a primal ache to rise to the challenge he presented. I didn’t want his throne or his kingdom, but I did want something else from him. I wanted his respect. And with that knowledge I knew I’d never bow to him. So, if he was determined to see me fall, he was going to have to try and make me break.
“Can't lie to your face when I'm facing a wall, can I sir?”
I made a mistake and now my time is up. The Shadow has discovered me and there is no hope for me to escape their wrath. The answers you seek are hidden between Leo and Libra. Don’t trust the flames. Claim your throne. - Falling Star
