I guessed students’ post was delivered via unicorn farts or whatever their version of a postie was.
Darius sighed heavily and pulled my Atlas out of my hands. I looked up at him in shock, reaching out to snatch it back but he ignored me, pulling up an app on the third page and quickly selecting ‘Post Retrieval’ from a list of options. He caught my hand, and the warmth of his skin surprised me almost as much as the fact that his touch was gentle.
Caleb set me on my feet with a boyish grin that almost could have made me believe he wasn’t a total bastard. Ignore the dimples, Tory, he’s an award winning dickasaurus.
“Ergh fine,” I gave in just to rid myself of that expression. He grinned from ear to ear. “Kiss?” he asked. “No!” I gasped as he leaned in for one. “Are you crazy?” I shoved him back and he started bobbing on his heels. “Crazy for you.” “That is the cringiest thing I’ve ever heard,” I laughed.
I didn’t know if I should trust him or not, I had notoriously terrible taste in men and I always, always picked the bad guy. But nothing could get my blood pumping like knowing I was playing with something I couldn’t control, and Caleb Altair was as unpredictable as the wind.
“Enough to let me know that it’s a terrible idea.” My breath caught as his mouth made it to the corner of mine. “Probably not enough to put me off entirely.”
fucking me with his hand with the perfect skill of a born sinner.
“Can we pretend you're all my dates tonight? Make every guy in Zodiac think I'm er - cómo se dice? - the shit.”
“Why do you keep flirting with the devil?” he asked and for a second, I thought he meant himself.
the mere flutter of his breath on my flesh felt like the most forbidden of kisses.
