. Light can be a wave or light can be a particle, but it cannot be both at the same time. Einstein’s statement to Heisenberg comes back to haunt this experiment. It is the theory that decides what we can observe. If your theory is that light is a wave, then you can devise an experiment that will prove it, and if your theory favors particles, you can prove that just as easily. The fundamental nature of light depends entirely on what experiment you run. Form follows theory.

As a public relations strategy to counter alarming stories that leaked out concerning the nuclear bomber, the AEC suggested that radiation dose measurements be changed from rads and REMs to “sunshine units.” Radiation exposure at least sounded more cheerful that way.

In the case of processed spent fuel, if all the electrical power a person used in a lifetime were produced by nuclear fission, the radioactive waste product from all the power would fit in a Coke can and weigh about 2 pounds. If that same power were produced by burning coal, the solid portion of the waste product would be a small mountain.
