Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my j rock and my k redeemer.

4 v Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths. 5 Lead me in your w truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is j the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; k his understanding is unsearchable. 29 He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. 30 Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted;

but l they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings m like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

If you then, d who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will z your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!

But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.

z I appeal to you therefore, brothers, [1] by the mercies of God, a to present your bodies b as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. [2] 2 c Do not be conformed to this world, [3] but be transformed by d the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may e discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

I have been t crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives u in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, v who loved me and w gave himself for me.

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of e things not seen.

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God m must believe that he exists and m that he rewards those who seek him.

In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that n God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10In this is love, o not that we have loved God n but that he loved us and sent his Son to be p the propitiation for our sins. 11Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
